What is application of mild steel ST37-2 material

The ST37-2 material is mild steel with min. yield strength of 235MPa and tensile strength of 360-510Mpa. The application of mild steel ST37-2 material is mainly for riveting, bolting, welding purposes for general mechanical engineering.

ST37-2 material is a kind of carbon structural steel. It is equivalent to EN10025-2 S235JR, JIS G3101 SS400, JIS G3106 SM400A, FE360B, E24-2 and so on steel grades. Those steel materials are utilized for applications requiring low or intermediate tensile strength.
